Canvas & Screens
Arrange screens, choose device settings, and set the Journey entry point
A Project contains one or more mobile screens. Use Design for a clean storyboard and Flow when you need the complete authoring canvas, connections, tools, and inspectors.
Add a screen
You can ask Nuxie to create or revise screens, insert a saved screen from the library, add a blank device frame, or duplicate an existing screen.
A useful request states the screen’s job and its constraints:
Add a short upgrade screen after the usage-limit message. Use our annual and monthly Products, make annual the primary choice, and preserve the current visual language.
Nuxie updates the same Project. Review the result on the canvas, then continue the conversation or edit it directly.
Navigate the canvas
| Action | Shortcut |
|---|---|
| Pan | Hold Space and drag |
| Fit the Project | Command/Ctrl + 0 |
| Focus the selection | F |
| Zoom | Command/Ctrl + Plus or Minus |
| Duplicate the selection | Command/Ctrl + D |
| Undo / redo | Command/Ctrl + Z / Command/Ctrl + Shift + Z |
| Show keyboard shortcuts | Command/Ctrl + / |
The canvas supports multi-selection, copy and paste, and direct manipulation. The command palette and shortcut sheet are the authority if a system shortcut conflicts with your browser.
Screen settings
Select a screen to edit its name and presentation settings. Project-level settings define the default device, orientation, bezel, and safe-area guides; a screen can override supported values when its design requires it.
Use realistic device presets while authoring, but verify on the smallest and largest devices your app supports. Content near safe areas, dynamic prices, and localized text deserve particular attention.
Organize the Journey
In Flow, arrange screens to make the Journey legible and connect their behavior. You can duplicate, rename, delete, or hide a screen from the Journey. A hidden screen remains available for later work but is not part of the published Journey.
Every publishable Project needs one starting point. Right-click the intended first screen and choose Set as starting point. The publish review blocks a Project with no starting point.
Reuse screens
The screen library lets you bring useful work into another part of the Project. Treat a reused screen as a new copy: check its Products, variables, interactions, response fields, and Goal assumptions before publishing it in a different Journey.
