Connecting accounts

Connect the services your app already uses.

Connect your existing services so Nuxie can use their data when investigating and improving your app. An analytics connection can explain where onboarding loses users; a billing connection can explain a customer’s subscription; a store connection supplies Products and purchase information.

Once connected, you can use the account in Tasks and, where the provider offers events, create Automations that respond to changes in that service.

Connect a service

Choose a service

Open Connectors in your workspace. Choose Available to browse services and select a provider.

Connect the account

Enter the credentials and account details requested by the provider’s setup form, then select its connection button.

Find your connection

The account appears under Connected when saved.

Each provider has its own setup. You may be asked for an API key, a service account, or the project that owns your data. The form includes links to the provider when you need to complete part of the setup there.

Use the account that has access to the app and data you want Nuxie to work with. For store credentials and app mapping, follow App Store Connect or Google Play.

Use a connected account

Name the service in a Task and tell Nuxie what you want to find out or do:

Use Mixpanel to compare our onboarding funnel this week with last week. Which step lost the most users?

Name the provider project or customer when it matters to the question. Nuxie uses the connector to retrieve the relevant information, and you can continue the same Task with a change based on what it finds. See Using connected data for examples.

For a store catalog, configure the app mapping after connecting the account, then choose Sync Products in Products. The mapping tells Nuxie which store app belongs to your Nuxie App.

To act on events from the service, create an Automation using the connected account and one of its available events.

Permissions and connection status

Choose Connected to see your configured services. Nuxie uses the permissions of the account you’ve connected. Work that needs approval still goes through the Task’s review process.

If the account’s credentials change or its authorization expires, open the provider’s menu and choose Reconnect. Complete setup with the current credentials to restore access. See Connection permissions for more about account access and approvals.

Disconnect a service

To remove access, open the provider’s menu, choose Disconnect, and confirm. Nuxie disables the connection and its event triggers, and pauses active Automations that depend on those triggers.

A disconnected store can no longer keep its catalog and purchases synchronized through that connection. You can reconnect using the provider’s setup flow. Afterward, review the account and trigger settings of any dependent Automations before resuming them.
