Nuxie billing belongs to your workspace. Your plan pays for the tools your team uses to create and improve your app, while revenue fees follow purchases attributed to your published Experiences.

Open **Settings → Billing & Usage** to see your plan, credits, revenue, and upcoming charges. Workspace owners and admins can manage billing and view payment details and invoices. Your workspace's pricing and applicable agreement determine its charges.

## Plans and credits

The billing page brings together three parts of your account:

- **Plan and seats:** the subscription and access for your team. Choose **Change plan** or **Choose a plan** to review plan options, or **Manage** beside **Seats** to manage team access.
- **Credits:** the balance used for work in Nuxie, including generation. Eligible paid plans can choose **Reload** to buy more credits.
- **Attributed revenue:** revenue from purchases made through Nuxie Experiences, with its own fee calculation and billing status.

Workspace credits pay for your team's use of Nuxie. They are separate from the [credit systems](/docs/monetization/credits) you can create for customers inside your app. Buying a workspace credit reload doesn't change your attributed-revenue rate.

## Attributed revenue

Monthly Attributed Revenue (MAR) measures verified purchases made through Nuxie-delivered Experiences, including related subscription renewals. It doesn't include all revenue from your app.

For a purchase to count, it must happen through a published Experience's purchase action and match a verified store transaction for the same app, platform, customer, and live environment. Seeing a paywall or buying something nearby in time isn't enough. Your purchase integration supplies the evidence; you don't send a separate MAR event.

### Subscriptions and trials

<span id="subscription-lifetime-and-exclusions" />

A free trial contributes no revenue until a payment occurs. If it converts, that payment and subsequent renewals keep the subscription's original attribution for its lifetime, even after the original Journey ends. Introductory and discounted purchases count at the amount actually charged.

A new subscription after the previous one has ended needs a new qualifying purchase origin. For an upgrade or replacement, a verified purchase through another Nuxie Experience establishes the new origin. Otherwise, a verified continuation keeps the previous subscription's origin.

### Excluded purchases

Test and sandbox purchases don't count. Restoring or importing an existing purchase doesn't create new attribution, and duplicate reports of the same transaction count only once.

Purchases through unrelated paywalls, purchases before integration without a qualifying Nuxie origin, and revenue from independently delivered exported code are outside MAR. Transactions with unresolved purchase identity, attribution, or amounts remain excluded until Nuxie can verify them.

## Revenue fees

Open **Revenue details** to see the pricing and billing status for the selected month. A workspace can have percentage pricing with a threshold, a fixed monthly fee, or a waived revenue fee. Use the terms shown for your workspace when reviewing the calculation.

With percentage pricing, Nuxie applies any negative balance carried from earlier months before checking the threshold. At or below the threshold, the revenue fee is zero. Above it, the rate applies to the **whole adjusted amount**, including the amount below the threshold.

For example, a workspace with a 1% rate and a $10,000 threshold would have these fees:

| Adjusted monthly MAR | Revenue fee |
| --- | --- |
| $10,000 | $0 |
| $10,001 | $100.01 |
| $12,000 | $120 |

> **Note**
>
> The threshold is not a deductible. A $12,000 month in this example produces a $120 fee, rather than $20. The final fee rounds to the nearest USD cent, with half a cent rounded up.

A negative month reduces later eligible MAR instead of producing a cash payout. For example, a $2,000 negative carry followed by $11,000 in net MAR leaves $9,000 after carry. Positive amounts below the threshold don't accumulate toward a later month's fee.

## Refunds, currency, and billing months

MAR uses the gross store-reported transaction amount before store commission, converted to USD. Billing months follow UTC calendar boundaries and combine the workspace's apps.

Refunds and chargebacks reduce MAR when processed and stay linked to their original charge. Nuxie retains the original amount, currency, and applied exchange rate so you can review the calculation. Refreshing exchange rates doesn't reprice a closed bill.

Late purchases and adjustments enter the earliest open billing month. Their original occurrence dates remain visible, which explains why a transaction can appear in a different month from its store purchase date. Corrections to an Experience's attribution don't silently change a closed assessment's amount or billing month.

## Read your revenue report

Choose **Revenue details**, then select **Month (UTC)**. The summary shows net revenue, any carry from earlier months, and the fee or estimate for that month. **Revenue by app** breaks down the workspace total.

The labels explain how to read the amount:

| Label | Meaning |
| --- | --- |
| **Measured only** or **Historical, measured only** | Revenue is recorded for reporting. No revenue-fee invoice is created for that month. |
| **Billing active** | The calculation includes revenue eligible for billing under the workspace's applicable terms. |
| **Month-to-date estimate** | The month is still open. Verified purchases and refunds can change the amount. |
| **Closed month** | The month's assessment has been recorded. Invoice status shows what happened to its collection. |

Earlier measured-only months stay unbilled when billing becomes active. A qualifying renewal after activation can count even if the subscription started earlier; that doesn't make the earlier payments billable. Refunds of unbilled purchases don't create invoice credits.

Use **View evidence** on a transaction to inspect its purchase origin and currency conversion. **View attributed history** follows the originating purchase across renewals and refunds. **Download this page** exports the displayed report page; use the pagination controls to inspect further events.

## Stop plan renewals

Choose **Stop renewals** on the billing page, then **Review cancellation**. Review the affected seats and their paid-through dates, then select **Confirm cancellation**. **Seat renewals stopped** confirms the change. If the request is still processing or needs another attempt, follow the status and retry action shown there.

Each seat stays active through its own paid-through date, so monthly and annual commitments can end at different times. After those commitments end, their included refills and paid authoring access stop. Remaining credits keep their applicable expiry rules.

Published Experiences keep serving. Their eligible attributed revenue can continue to incur fees under your workspace's terms, including after returning to Free. Changing or ending the authoring plan doesn't reset MAR or turn earlier measured-only history into billable revenue.

## Invoices and payment details

Use **Payment method** to manage how you pay and **Invoices** to review issued invoices. A revenue estimate or closed assessment isn't a payment receipt: check the invoice's payment status separately.

For help with a charge, email [billing@nuxie.ai](mailto:billing@nuxie.ai). Include the workspace, billing month, invoice reference if available, and the transaction or adjustment you're asking about. The revenue report's evidence helps identify the purchase and calculation to review.
